Agreement to Terms

By accessing or using Sortr.net's API services ("Services"), you agree to be bound by these Terms of Service. If you disagree with any part of these terms, you may not access the Services.

Description of Services

Sortr.net provides API services for sorting, filtering, and organizing data. Our Services include RESTful APIs, SDKs, documentation, and related developer tools.

API Usage

API Keys

You are responsible for maintaining the confidentiality of your API keys. You must not share, publish, or expose your API keys in client-side code or public repositories. You are responsible for all activity that occurs under your API keys.

Rate Limits

API usage is subject to rate limits based on your subscription plan. Exceeding rate limits may result in throttled requests. Repeated abuse may result in account suspension.

Acceptable Use

You agree not to use the Services to:

• Violate any applicable laws or regulations
• Process illegal or harmful content
• Attempt to circumvent rate limits or security measures
• Interfere with or disrupt the Services
• Reverse engineer or attempt to extract source code
• Resell the Services without authorization

Subscription and Billing

Free Tier

The free tier is provided as-is with no guarantees. We reserve the right to modify or discontinue the free tier at any time.

Paid Plans

Paid subscriptions are billed monthly or annually in advance. Prices are subject to change with 30 days notice. Refunds are provided on a case-by-case basis.

Overages

If you exceed your plan limits, you will be notified and may be charged overage fees or upgraded to a higher tier automatically, depending on your account settings.

Service Level Agreement

For Pro and Enterprise plans, we guarantee 99.9% and 99.99% uptime respectively. SLA credits are calculated as a percentage of your monthly bill based on downtime duration.

Data Processing

Data sent to our API is processed in memory and not stored. We act as a data processor under GDPR. You remain the data controller and are responsible for ensuring you have the right to process any data sent to our Services.

Intellectual Property

Sortr.net retains all rights to the Services, including all software, documentation, and trademarks. You retain all rights to your data and any applications you build using our Services.

Disclaimer of Warranties

THE SERVICES ARE PROVIDED "AS IS" WITHOUT WARRANTIES OF ANY KIND, EXPRESS OR IMPLIED. WE DO NOT WARRANT THAT THE SERVICES WILL BE UNINTERRUPTED, ERROR-FREE, OR SECURE.

Limitation of Liability

TO THE MAXIMUM EXTENT PERMITTED BY LAW, SORTR.NET SHALL NOT BE LIABLE FOR ANY INDIRECT, INCIDENTAL, SPECIAL, CONSEQUENTIAL, OR PUNITIVE DAMAGES. OUR TOTAL LIABILITY SHALL NOT EXCEED THE AMOUNT PAID BY YOU IN THE 12 MONTHS PRECEDING THE CLAIM.

Indemnification

You agree to indemnify and hold harmless Sortr.net from any claims, damages, or expenses arising from your use of the Services or violation of these Terms.

Termination

We may suspend or terminate your access to the Services at any time for violation of these Terms. You may cancel your account at any time through your dashboard or by contacting support.

Changes to Terms

We reserve the right to modify these Terms at any time. We will provide notice of material changes via email or through the Services. Continued use after changes constitutes acceptance.

Governing Law

These Terms shall be governed by the laws of the State of Delaware, without regard to conflict of law principles.
